With Motorola Passive Optical LAN (POL), you can realize up to 55% reduction in capital and up to 75% reduction in overall operational costs―a combined total cost of ownership (TCO) savings of up to 65% over your traditional LAN architecture. When you factor in POL’s ability to leverage a passive, fiber-based network between your datacenter and your subscribers’ desktops, you have a solution that’s ready to scale with your enterprise, without costly and disruptive cable upgrades, for years to come.
AXS 1800 Enterprise Aggregation Switch
The Motorola AXS1800 Enterprise Aggregation Switch (EAS) is a high-density layer 2 aggregation device that extends fiber for miles directly from the datacenter to any Ethernet end point in the enterprise, eliminating costly access and distribution switches and greatly simplifying LAN deployments. Designed to deliver quality IP-voice, any type of video, and ultra-high speed data over a single highly reliable and secure Passive Optical LAN (POL), the AXS1800 EAS solution truly represents the next generation in enterprise networking.
The Motorola WT21004 Work Group Terminal provides a compact distribution point for a full range of advanced voice, data, and IP video services over a converged fiber-based local area network (LAN). The WT21004 provides line-rate gigabit services at distances of up to 20 km from the Enterprise Aggregation Switch (EAS). This greatly reduces the cost, complexity and operational requirements associated with traditional multi-tiered and legacy data networking technologies.
The Motorola SF24210 RF Work Group terminal is designed to deliver RF video services in addition to a full range of advanced voice, data and IP video over a converged and secure all-optical local area network (LAN). With greatly improved fiber deployment methods, enterprises can economically access the power of an all-fiber network while achieving significant capital and operational savings. The SF24210, which is established on proven gigabit passive optical networking (GPON) technology, is ready to serve the enterprise network today with technology that will readily grow and adapt into the future.
The Motorola WT24004 Work Group Terminal provides a high-density rack-mounted distribution point for a full range of advanced voice, data, and IP video services over a converged fiber-based local area network (LAN). With support for up to 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE), the WT24004 is designed to serve high concentrations of end users, as well as IP-enabled devices such as wireless access points, security badge readers and security cameras.
AXSvision Element Management System
Motorola’s AXSvision is a graphically rich element management system (EMS) designed specifically to simplify the user experience during the deployment of passive optical LAN (POL) networks.
It provides a highly graphical user environment to enable rapid creation and delivery of IP voice, video and data services provided by Motorola’s POL solution.
AXSvision delivers full fault, configuration, administration, performance and security (FCAPS) management functionality and ensures the Motorola POL solution integrates smoothly with existing IT network management systems.
